Hawaiian Music- free concert in Lahaina Maui

Do you like music? How about Hawaiian music? We are blessed to own three beautiful vacation rentals on the island of Maui and one of my favorite things about the island is the music. Hawaiian music is more than just singing, it tells a story! The songs can take you back in time as they spin tales of mythology and genealogy. Each piece is like musical poetry! The best way to enjoy the sounds, is sitting outside, feeling the warm Hawaiian breeze and watching the story come alive as hula dancers interpret the story.

Each month, the Lahaina Restoration Foundation presents a free, outdoor concert on the lawn of the Baldwin Home Museum. The Museum is located just a couple blocks from our vacation rentals and is a beautiful tranquil setting. It is the perfect backdrop for an evening of contemporary and traditional Hawaiian music. Chair seating is limited, so if you are staying with us, take advantage of the beach chairs we offer.

The next concert is on July 31st between 6 and 7:30pm and will feature the sounds of Ikaika Blackurn and friends. Ikaika Blackburn, is a founding member of Nā Hōkū Hanohano award-winning trio Nā Hoa. The group’s beautiful melodies and harmonies evoke a nostalgic era in Hawai‘i.

If you haven’t booked your trip to Maui yet, what are you waiting for? Paradise is calling. Come answer the call. We still have some limited availability left this summer and fall. Please visit our website at:
